This is a vintage Texas US Route 66 porcelain sign (also known as a Route 66 road marker shield plate), measuring approximately 11 1/2 inches by 11 inches (classic shield shape). It features the iconic Route 66 highway marker design: “TEXAS” in bold black at the top on white, “US” above “66” in large black numerals centered in the shield, black border outline, and white background — a classic Texas Route 66 road sign.

Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
